I've turned into a slug....no seriously this much needed weekend off [which I had big plans for.....think getting organized] kind of took a backseat to doing pretty much nothing.....except for catching up on OZARK!  I'm 4 episodes in and it's riveting.....#ruthforpresident

I'm actually writing this on Monday so there is still hope that I can check a few things off my list!

Had to finally take Cami to the vet on Sat morning.  [Thinking that I did not want to take her to the weekend/holiday vet and spend my whole fall budget on the bill....ha ha.]

Anyway they gave me an arsenal of meds to help with her situation and as of this morning I would say there is a 10% change in her condition!

Like I said last week.....I was aiming for some fall shopping while the sales were hot!  To say I stocked up for fall is an understatement.  Yikes I may have gone a little overboard.

That's what returns are for :)

 I have a few events coming up....and one is the opening of my Pinewood Forest showhouse.  Now I'm not one to throw on a dress....[the one I bought in the spring I still have not worn] so I thought I would show you guys how I will extend the life of "white jeans" through fall.
  
This is what I am planning on wearing!  Navy and white are always classic but the lace top will add some pizazz!

I bought this sweater jacket in black last spring from J Crew Factory but when I went back to get the camel one it was gone.  So glad they brought it back because the one they have at J Crew has funky sleeves on it....and I didn't like the cut.

OK...I am smitten with these gold shoes!  So I tried to figure out how would I wear them!  Of course Madewell hardly ever has sales....so I'm holding off on that purchase!

Yes....I caved and bought these pants from Banana Republic!  I had to right....black and white?

I guess I lied about not buying a dress....I forgot I bought this one.  I'm on the fence but since everything was on sale I purchased and will play around with it!

 And these black suede loafer.
I am definitely on the fence about these jeans.....but again....that is what returns are for.

 Wanted to buy....All from Club Monaco....where everything was a rare 25% off.  Should have bought that wrap.



 Shopping is so much fun....the thrill of the hunt!  Did y'all do any damage?  Spill it!

BOULDER PROJECT

I stayed up past midnight finishing the Amazon show Jack Ryan.  I'm not sure what got into me....because normally I want to savor the end of a show but this one had me hooked pretty badly! And who knew that John Krasinski was hubba hubba.  And.... he is so tall....and apparently when he took his shirt off.... he's no stranger to the gym. Now that I am  finished with Ozark and Jack Ryan.... I'm waiting like a kid for Christmas for season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The good news is my stepdaughter and her husband finally found a permanent  house just outside of Boulder.  After all the flipping it was time to have their own place so I have been busy helping them with new furniture. Here is a look at the living space.  [real estate shot] And the plan....Take down that wallpaper and paint the walls white.  Duh...right? PINEWOOD FOREST SHOWHOUSE BEFORE AND AFTER

Well I could have saved a lot of time on my last post because hands down #3 was a pretty clear winner!  Which shocked me because #1 and #2 were my fav!  That shows what I know right....haha. #6 came in second and of course I seriously loved that one because as you know I adore all things neutral.... I love that my "fellow TV watchers" enjoyed Jack Ryan as much as I did.  The minute they finished the last scene I turned to my husband and said....not sure I can wait a whole year for season 2!  On another thought don't you love when you discover a great show and there are like 6 seasons to watch..... it's the best! So I can finally share my Pinewood Forest showhouse with you!  The party was last night and I enjoyed laughing with everyone about the trials of the install in mid August with no AC!  It was "Guam hot" I think you remember that I showed you the tower which was my space.....2 floors separated by a spiral staircase.... ...

HOUSE BEAUTIFUL WHOLE HOME PROJECT

Y'all I was up all night...no really....I'm not kidding.  My sweet little Cami had diarrhea.    At 12:36, 1:15, 2:30, 3:09, 4:15, 5:30.  I know this because I looked at my watch every time.  So I think it is safe to say that this will not be a productive day. I had big plans to get so much done but....oh well....I'm not sure my brain will be working at capacity. I have a few very small images of the HB project . I'm not kidding.... I'm afraid I may be shot or be-headed if I show more but I do want to peak your interest:) I had originally picked a light blue for the covered porch ceiling color...but this was NOT a time to  play it safe.  I went with BM Gumdrop and I'll admit it's one of my favorite things about the house!
